The Rehab Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring delivery of quality therapy services through clinical supervision, consultation, direction and evaluation of the therapist and therapy services provided to patients active with Your Choice at Home.
Responsibilities Include:
- Participates in activities related to the planning, implementation and evaluation of the rehabilitation services to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the agency
- Participates in the monitoring of therapy services provided by vendor agencies to assure their compliance with State/Federal regulations.
- In collaboration with administration, coordinates orientation and participates in the development of all levels of staff.
- Identifies needs and/or participants in formal and informal in-service activities for all levels of staff.
- Participates with the DPS in the evaluation of the performance of each contracted (fee-for-service) therapist.
Position Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy
- Current License to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York State
- 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience providing direct patient care to all groups with orthopedic conditions in an outpatient setting, home care preferred
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
