Reporting to the Vice President of People & Engagement, the Senior HR Business Partner will oversee the HR function across three manufacturing plants in Ontario, including one unionized plant. This role requires a strategic HR leader with experience in union and non-union environments, recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, compliance, training and development and compensation.
The Senior HRBP will collaborate closely with VP of HR, plant leadership, the HR Team and employees to foster a positive and productive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR, with a focus on union and non-union environments, recruitment, payroll, employee engagement, compliance, compensation, training and development, and HR/payroll infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Ontario.
Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated experience in managing labor relations and collective bargaining agreements.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems. i.e. ADP WFN Time & Attendance, Payroll, HRIS
