Position Summary

Guggenheim Securities Information Management ("GSIM") is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage our Microsoft Azure Cloud projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering cloud-based solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to manage complex projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful implementation of Azure cloud solutions.

Essential Job Functions
  • Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery for Microsoft Azure Cloud projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders, to ensure project success.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security requirements for cloud-based solutions.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders and facilitate project meetings and presentations.
  • Manage project resources, including internal team members and external vendors, to ensure optimal project performance.
  • Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance project delivery and efficiency.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, with a focus on Microsoft Azure Cloud projects.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in cloud computing, specifically with Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex cloud-based projects.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and security best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Azure certifications, are highly desirable.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Administration, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.


Work Location
  • Currently, this role is expected to be in the New York office Tuesday - Thursday.


Salary
  • Annual base salary between $150,000 and $175,000.
  • The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
