Oversee and optimize accounting and tax resources, tools, and processes by developing, supervising, and implementing policies and procedures. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of accounting and tax records, financial analyses, and statements for U.S. subsidiaries, adhering to local tax regulations, IFRS, US GAAP, and CMPC corporate standards.
Facilitate the availability of high-quality, timely financial information to support decision-making at all levels within CMPC North America Group.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of accounting processes, IFRS and US GAAP experience
EEFF Consolidation Understanding Preparation of Financial Reports to control bodies or third parties
Control, monitoring, and compliance with external and internal audits.
Specific knowledge: Microsoft Office suite: Word, Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, lookup),
PowerPoint, SAP experience.

Oversee and optimize accounting and tax resources, tools, and processes by developing, supervising, and implementing policies and procedures. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of accounting and tax records, financial analyses, and statements for U.S. subsidiaries, adhering to local tax regulations, IFRS, US GAAP, and CMPC corporate standards.
Facilitate the availability of high-quality, timely financial information to support decision-making at all levels within CMPC North America Group.
- Manage the monthly accounting close and the respective quarterly and annual reports of the subsidiary under your responsibility
- Tax and RegulationsCompliance, Review of taxable income tax bases, deferred taxes and other applicable taxes.
Support preparation of income tax returns - Maintain control over office budgets, accounting for various aspects such as amortizations, depreciation, provisions, and surrender. -Implement effective accounting control procedures to track and manage financial resources.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly cash flowstatements, and tax returns. Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure accurate tax computations and compliance with tax regulations.
- Analyze and prepare a monthly report on administrative-related key performance indicators (KPIs), such as tax credits and compliance. Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, transparency, and planning, aligning with organizational goals.
- Meetings with external and internal auditors, maintaining a standard of control and reporting that does not generate negative aspects in reports delivered by these control bodies, whether external or internal.
