Project Manager - Manufacturing - Financial Card Services

SUMMARY

Primarily responsible for the transition of financial services clients from the sales process toward the internal implementation processes to facilitate the ultimate successful launch and delivery of custom and personalized financial cards and services to customers.

Will strategically coordinate project implementation processes through internal stakeholders such as business development, manufacturing operations, and technical teams with external client representation such as financial institutions, issuers, and processors.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client onboarding at the intersection of sales and project implementation to transition customers from the sales process to being successful, informed, and satisfied customers.
• Facilitate effective cross communications methods to ensure understanding of project requirements, current status updates, and individual deliverables through stakeholder meetings, project plans, and software systems.
• Ensure understanding of customer technical product requirements and expectations are received and communicated internally throughout the project lifecycle and track and develop metrics toward these expectations.
• Daily interaction and client coordination with internal resources including but not limited to pre-press, operations, and technical services.
• Proactive communications and responsiveness to all customer inquiries, coordinating internal teams to ensure outcomes to customer expectations.
• Work closely with Sales Managers, Account Managers, and Operations Management to manage internal resources required for complex tenders. Assign tasks internally to appropriate resources.
• Ensure project timelines, both internal and external, are met by managing the process from start to finish, including gathering and validating requirements and ensuring appropriate signoffs.
• Consistently maintain CRM database information on clients and ensure data is accurate and current.
• Bring multiple internal and client-based parties together to conduct meetings to ensure alignment on product plan and implementation status and measure progress against goals and timelines.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of project implementation management in a client-facing position within a product manufacturing, financial services, or technology business.
• Process-oriented, highly organized, with the ability to build relationships at all levels and meet goals through others.
• Experience with project management systems and CRM databases.
• Project Management Certification (PMP) is preferred.
• Experience in Financial Card Services, FinTech, plastic printing, and/or financial verticals preferred.
• Must be able to successfully manage multiple projects, tasks, and responsibilities simultaneously.
• Highly self-motivated and able to work through ambiguity with a strong ability to know when to escalate and de-escalate issues to management.
