The Corporate Tax Director will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial aspects of the company's operations, with a specific focus on tax compliance and strategy. This individual will ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations, develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks, and provide leadership to the tax team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in finance, accounting, and taxation, along with exceptional analytical, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all international, U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including income tax, franchise tax, sales tax, and property tax, in collaboration with third parties.
- Oversee processes with third parties, review and approve tax filings and payments for accurate and timely reporting, including corporate income, franchise, property, sales & use, and other regulatory filings.
- Prepare quarterly estimated tax payments and income tax provisions for annual financial statements.
- Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and optimization.
- Manage the preparation and analysis of transfer pricing schedules and studies.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and legal counsel to develop and implement tax planning strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax-related matters, including financial reporting and transactional tax implications.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to support business initiatives and decision-making.
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process, providing input on tax-related matters.
- Lead the tax function, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. This includes setting objectives and driving continuous improvement in tax processes and policies.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications and Experience:
- CPA license required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience preferably in the consumer goods or food industry.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Tax provision (ASC 740) experience is required.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. domestic and U.S. international tax laws and regulations
- In-depth knowledge of subchapter K and special allocations and corporate taxation.
- Knowledge of and experience with sales & use tax in multiple jurisdictions
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
- Proactive, driven self-starter with the ability to take ownership of the tax function.
- Experience in transfer pricing analysis and multinational intercompany structures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote) and other related applications or software.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

- Typical work in office environment.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer that may require repetitive tasks, such as data entry and report generation.
