The Program Manager will be tasked with significantly increasing market share in the assigned vertical market segment by cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with customers at both executive and operational levels.

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Drive and expand global programs within FANUC and with strategic partners.
  • Develop and articulate value propositions to customers.
  • Identify and cultivate growth opportunities in assigned vertical market segments.
  • Manage relationships and accounts for customers within the assigned geographic region.
  • Promote FANUC products and services to boost service revenue, sales, profitability, CNC unit sales, and retrofits, while meeting assigned sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Provide technical support and assistance as needed.
  • Lead all aspects and development of strategies for profitable penetration into new or existing markets
  • Recommend appropriate detailed products to fill portfolio gaps
  • Develop purchase specifications for each application within the vertical market segments
  • Lead and manage internal and external global projects
  • Be responsible for the completion of projects/programs including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy and evaluating results
  • Engage with key decision-makers at strategic customers through onsite visits, email, WebEx, and phone communication.
  • Ability to travel domestically by plane or car at least 60% of the time, with potential for international travel.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing/Sales, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience with FANUC CNC products in technical sales, applications, engineering, or equivalent roles.
  • Ability to present ideas and solutions to groups or individuals, at all levels, from the CEO to the shop floor.
  • In-depth knowledge of CNC, engineering, application, and manufacturing processes.
  • Experience in early-stage development of projects and opportunities in portfolio sales.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and the flexibility to travel as required by business needs.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and relevant software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills and conduct seminars, webinars, and Lunch & Learn sessions.
  • Solve customer issues by analyzing situations and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Prepare quotes for optional sales, maintenance parts, service contracts, and other FANUC products.
  • Collaborative team player with exceptional leadership abilities to effectively lead and inspire a cross-functional sales team.
  • Proven ability to initiate cold calls and effectively prospect new business opportunities.
  • Highly self-motivated, persistent, and tenacious, with the ability to work independently and autonomously.
