About the Role

We're seeking an experienced IT leader who thrives in a service-driven, mission-focused environment. The IT Manager will oversee our Helpdesk, Systems Administration, and Communications Infrastructure teams, ensuring seamless IT operations, strong cybersecurity, and system reliability. You'll be responsible for network oversight, end-user experience, IT project management, and business continuity planning while driving process improvements and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead and support the IT team by managing a team of up to four direct reports, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback.

Ensure system uptime and security by overseeing IT infrastructure, including LAN, Citrix, VMware, telecommunications, and cloud-based services, to maintain 24/7 availability for members.

Deliver exceptional internal support by ensuring the Service Desk delivers timely, high-quality technical support to a workforce of 130 employees, meeting organizational SLAs.

Manage IT projects and upgrades by overseeing system enhancements, software updates, and infrastructure improvements, collaborating with business partners on implementation and testing.

Enhance business continuity and compliance by implementing and maintaining disaster recovery plans, security protocols, and compliance measures to protect critical systems.

Optimize IT operations by identifying new technology solutions that improve efficiency, security, and system performance while aligning with industry best practices.

Communicate and collaborate by acting as a liaison between employees, leadership, and vendors, ensuring IT solutions meet business needs and enhance member services.

What You Bring to the Table

Experience and education of at least three to five years managing IT operations in an on-premise environment. A two-year degree in information systems or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience (eight or more years) will be considered.

Technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities, project management skills, and experience with Citrix, VMware, networking, and security best practices.

Leadership and communication skills, with a passion for guiding teams, clear communication, and a results-driven mindset.

Regulated industry experience (preferred) in financial institutions, the medical industry, or other compliance-driven environments.
