This role requires an organized, and motivated individual to support the overall electrified powertrain team to understand how global requirements influence HV architecture and design decisions across commodities such as HV batteries, eMachines, and HV systems (HV wiring & power conversion systems). The ability to think in broad terms across platform applications, programs, and electrified powertrain commodities is essential. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of PD processes, and excellent communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- Support EV technical forum on standards and regulations across EPE, E&SC, MP&L, R&A to review and understand how to create engineering requirements to meet global regulatory updates and issues.
- Work closely with E&SC / ASO to understand regulatory requirements and what is required to demonstrate compliance.
- Create engineering requirements for regulations that require additional definition or interpretation to correctly and consistently implement.
- Facilitate cross functional meetings with PD engineering teams, Automotive Safety Office, and other stakeholders and drive towards a path of regulatory compliance.
- Communicate EV, HV battery and safety label regulatory updates in tech clubs and TDRs to raise awareness; continue to develop EPE regulatory cascade process.
Qualifications
You'll have...
- Bachelors degree in Engineering
- 3+ years PD experience and program experience
- Understanding of program process and timing
Even better, you may have...
- Bachelors or higher in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years PD or program experience
- D&R experience highly preferred
- Program management or Quality experience desirable
- Experience with FEDE
- Experience with using / programming AI tools
