Andrew Morgan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stakeholder Engagement Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in consulting and stakeholder engagement, along with a deep understanding of the DoD. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies that effectively communicate with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and DoD mission objectives. The SME will also be responsible for managing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

This individual will be responsible for developing and executing engagement strategies that effectively communicate with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and DoD mission objectives. The SME will also be responsible for managing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and implement comprehensive stakeholder engagement strategies, ensuring effective communication with key stakeholders, both internal and external, including DoD leadership, personnel, and contractors.
- Consulting Expertise: Provide consulting services, advising clients on best practices for stakeholder engagement, and helping to identify and mitigate risks related to stakeholder management and communication.
- Stakeholder Analysis: Conduct thorough stakeholder analysis to identify key players, understand their needs, and ensure that the right messages are delivered in a way that resonates with various stakeholder groups.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage stakeholder engagement initiatives and activities, ensuring alignment with program objectives and overall strategic goals.
- Communication: Lead the development of clear, concise, and impactful communications for stakeholder updates, briefings, presentations, and reports.
- Adaptability: Effectively manage shifting priorities and demands, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner without compromising quality.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure stakeholder engagement strategies align with organizational goals and the DoD's objectives.
- Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving conflicts or issues that may arise with stakeholders, ensuring that all parties are satisfied and that the project moves forward smoothly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experience, with a strong background in stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with DoD: Familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) is highly desired.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and influence key decision-makers at various levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently while also being able to work collaboratively in team settings.
- Experience in people management, including the ability to guide and mentor team members.
- Education: A bachelor's degree in business administration, Communications, Political Science, or a related field is required. A master's degree is a plus.
