Under immediate supervision and using established procedures, codes, programs, tests, and evaluates business and web application systems. Assists in the implementation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and documentation of application systems.
The Well Qualified Candidate Will Possess the Following
Knowledge:
Experience: One year of experience in the design, development, and documentation of enterprise web-based applications.
Equivalency Provision: A bachelor's degree or equivalent college units in programming, computer science, or other fields closely related to the job requirements of this classification from an institution of higher learning recognized by the Council of Higher Education Accreditation, may substitute for one year of the required experience. Foreign degrees and credit units require translation and equivalency established by an agency recognized by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
Additional Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the availability of private transportation or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites may be required.
Hybrid remote schedules may be available. To ensure the health and safety of its staff, LACOE may require employees to provide evidence of full vaccination against COVID-19.
Selection ProcessCandidates who meet the minimum requirements above will be invited to participate in an examination that may consist of a Written Exam, Technical Project and Structured Interview.
