Reports to: Group Client Lead
Location: NYC- This is a hybrid role and requires 3 days a week in office
The Salary Range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Group Account Director, Retail Excellencewill employ advanced analytics and insights to support and deploy global category leadership and growth initiatives.

This individual will provide inputs to support the global categories, shopper insights, and analytics roadmap, with focus on optimizing global to local data management, shopper insight delivery, and building category leading, consistent brand execution framework fit for use across multiple regions. The role is responsible for collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups to ensure the categories and brand solutions are scalable and deliver a clear vision.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Executes capability roadmap and playbook for Category Visioning and Category Solutions across all categories
  • Leverages consumer and customers insight and deep understanding of brand priorities to support category solutions and multi-brand activation opportunities
  • Partners with category leads across priority markets on deployment of category vision, and transcreation of category development and brand growth initiatives for local market and retailer activation
  • Supports work on category solutions and activation across all categories
  • Partners with the global brand development team to ensure external and customer perspective are fully embedded in commercial initiatives and brand activations
  • Supports development of channel strategy and customer priorities for brand development team and ensure customer requirements are embedded in new product development, brand growth initiatives, and overall go to market plan
  • Partners with cross-functional team including marketing, strategy, and creative within the assigned brand development team to develop shopper toolkits, new product launch playbooks, and RGM guidelines/playbooks for the assigned global brand development team

REQUIREMENTS
  • 7 to 10 years of Consumer Products industry experience in category or customer strategy, category insights & analytics, and/or shopper insights & analytics
  • Extensive knowledge of omni retail customer store operations, structure, strategy, and retail execution tactics
  • Budgeting and forecasting, commercial and financial acumen
  • Direct customer sales experience in CPG is preferred
  • Global or multi-regional experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with internal teams and external clients
  • Drive to deliver innovation and effective application of technologies
  • Ability to drive high volume projects
  • Curiosity for continued improvement
  • Strong use of data for optimization (effectiveness and efficiency)
  • Ability to handle high pressure situations
  • Willingness to wear many hats while giving team members autonomy and support
