Your Role as Director, Campaign

As the Director, Campaign, you will play a pivotal role in transforming Heritage Park's future. With a 20-year master plan already in place and a completed feasibility study, you'll take the reins to strategize, implement, and execute a major capital campaign. You'll work closely with high-profile donors, corporate sponsors, and community leaders to secure the necessary funds to support the Park's long-term vision. Leading a talented team, you'll bring passion, innovation, and strategic insight to fundraising efforts that make a real impact.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead a high-profile, multi-million-dollar capital and preservation campaign to support Heritage Park's mission.
  • Engage and cultivate relationships with major donors, corporate sponsors, and foundations to secure transformational gifts.
  • Develop and execute a compelling campaign strategy, including donor engagement, sponsorships, and naming opportunities.
  • Work alongside the executive team and board members to leverage networks and expand the Park's donor base.
  • Oversee financial management, budgeting, and performance tracking to ensure campaign success.
  • Inspire and lead a passionate team, mentoring and developing fundraising professionals to achieve ambitious goals.


Who You Are:
  • A fundraising leader with 7-10 years of progressive experience in major gifts and capital campaigns.
  • A relationship-builder who thrives on engaging donors and securing high-impact funding.
  • A strategic thinker with experience executing large-scale fundraising campaigns.
  • A team leader who can inspire, coach, and mentor a dynamic team of fundraising professionals.
  • A storyteller who can craft compelling cases for support that inspire donors to invest in Heritage Park's future.
  • AFP membership and experience with Raiser's Edge or similar donor management software is an asset.
