IFC's Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies. The HR department includes three Centers of Expertise (COEs) - Strategy & Organizational Effectiveness, Global Talent Acquisition & Mobility, and Talent & Incentives - and two Client Services teams providing support to Headquarter (HQ) and regions.

The Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness unit is the backbone of the IFC HR function, driving the delivery of strategic initiatives across critical areas such as HR Transformation, organizational design, employee engagement, and strategic workforce planning. The team is seeking a Human Resources Analyst to join the newly formed People Insights function in the HR department. Under the direction of the People Insights Lead, the incumbent will play a key role in elevating the analytical capacity of the department, by using predictive/descriptive analysis and statistical methods, creating power BI dashboards, supporting the development of reporting and analytical skills in the department, and communicating insights through engaging reports, presentations, and briefings.

Duties and Accountabilities:
Apply your experience in Human Resources, quantitative analysis, data science, and data visualization to add value to address HR business problems at the institutional level.
Provide data-driven recommendations for the delivery of the HR strategy.
Develop Power BI dashboards on HR data, incorporating advanced functionalities.
Proactively gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data and information and prepare relevant reports, dashboards, and presentations to generate insights that strengthen support for IFC's business objectives and contribute to workforce planning efforts.
Collaborate with other support functions (Corporate Analytics, Budget, DEI) and HR to incorporate multiple data streams to effectively analyze and communicate results and recommendations.
Maintain an HR Analytics playbook, enhance analytics tools and resources, and keep abreast of best practices and the latest research in HR Analytics and Strategic Workforce Planning. This includes building advanced analytics practices, creating templates, and providing automated data solutions, reports, data visualizations, and knowledge products.
Foster a data-driven culture within the HR team by implementing effective data quality controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency, as well as data models and analytical frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes.
Contribute to streamlining and automating analytics processes through digital transformation initiatives by providing inputs for process and system changes, including functional requirements.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Selection Criteria
Master's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Organizational/Industrial Psychology, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global company or organization; or Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in HR or data analytics, including demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis, predictive analytics, and report generation.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Advanced skills using a statistical computing language such as R or Python
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and knowledge of data visualization tools, preferably Power BI
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English, ability to translate complex data for various audiences, and experience preparing client-ready materials.
Strong quality control and client-service orientation and attention to detail.
Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting work priorities, demands, and tight deadlines.
Project management skills with the ability to articulate issues and recommend solutions.
High level of integrity, tact and discretion when managing sensitive and confidential information.
Strong knowledge of HR information systems, tools, and processes is an asset.
