Salary: starting at $95,000 depending on experience + annual discretionary bonus

This position is 100% on-site in our beautiful Ladera Ranch, CA office.

Real Estate Acquisition Analyst Job Summary

Reporting to the Senior Acquisition Analyst, the Real Estate Acquisition Analyst is responsible for analyzing potential investment opportunities, conducting market research, evaluating financial projects, and assisting in the acquisition process.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
  • Analyzes and evaluates potential real estate investment opportunities.
  • Conducts market research and feasibility studies for various properties in both the US and Canada.
  • Reviews and interprets financial data and projections.
  • Assists in due diligence processes for property acquisitions.
  • Prepares investment memos, presentations, and reports for key stakeholders.
  • Monitors industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities.
  • Collaborates with the acquisitions team to assess and prioritize potential deals.
  • Builds financial models and performs valuation analyses.
  • Maintains relationships with brokers, sellers, and other industry professionals.
  • Provides support in the management of the acquisitions pipeline.
  • Assists in preparing investment proposals and recommendations.
  • Participates in team meetings and provides insights on potential investments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Needed
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, accounting/economics or other related field required.
  • One to five years of Commercial Real Estate or Development experience required.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling, and market research.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial analysis, financial modeling, and market research.
