Day to Day
Lead a team of highly skilled Business Intelligence professionals dedicated to ensuring the success of Indeed's Marketing business unit. Work directly with Marketing Managers and senior leadership to identify, size, and evaluate opportunities to drive business growth, as well as work with Product Management to operationalize insights that drive A/B testing and value delivery for employer products. Act as an expert on Marketing data, disseminating consistent, actionable insights to Indeed's senior leaders and supporting Marketing leadership teams with OKR measurement and trends. Support, advise, and lead a team of Business Intelligence Analysts, helping them meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems. Coach and inform the team on performance requirements and ensure all needed resources are available. Develop insights Indeed can use to optimize strategies and products by building reports, dashboards, decision-optimization tools, and visualizations using tools that include Python, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, and home-grown data structures and tools. Understand business stakeholders' objectives, the metrics that are most important to them, and how they measure their performance. Help the team to turn business requirements into technical requirements, assisting them in finding and understanding the correct and best data sources for a given analysis. Build relationships across teams to leverage and extend existing analytical research. Present solutions to stakeholders and non-technical audiences that have long-term organizational benefits. Provide ongoing support to deployed solutions and iterate to adapt to evolving requirements and ecosystems. Learn from and share knowledge and skills with teammates to grow Business Intelligence's total impact to the organization.
Position is in Austin, TX. Up to 100% telecommuting from anywhere in the U.S. is permitted.

Salary Range Transparency
Salary Range: $144,144 to $202,000 per year

Minimum Requirements:
- Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical field;
- 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science;
- 5 years of experience writing complex and optimized SQL queries across large datasets
- 5 years of experience using Python or similar programming language to transform and integrate data from SQL databases, APIs, and unstructured and big data sources to derive actionable insights for business challenges;
- 5 years of experience using Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, or similar visualization platform to create dashboards;
- 5 years of experience developing and managing relationships with business partners at multiple levels and advising teams on advanced analytical solutions;
- 5 years of experience with ETL and data warehouse concepts and processes;
- 5 years of experience assessing data quality and documenting caveats and assumptions; and
- 3 years of experience leading a team.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
