Job Title: Technician Operations Tech Lead Pharmacist
Job Specialty: Pharmacy/Retail Supervisor

Experience: Five years of professional experience with two years in management
License: Current and valid state Pharmacist license required; licensed to administer immunizations, vaccines, and emergency medications preferred

- Ability to pass a background and drug screen

Job Description:

- Direct, manage, and supervise daily administrative operations to ensure high-quality service delivery, consistent with established professional, regulatory, and governmental standards.
- Develop operational and financial outcome measures, tracking, and monitoring systems to integrate into organization-wide quality improvement systems.
- Direct, implement, and evaluate the development of departmental, functional, and service-related policies and procedures.
- Proactively assess program, service, and functional effectiveness; facilitate continuous process improvement.
- Develop and supervise staff by providing timely feedback and using appropriate Human Resource policies and tools to achieve professional growth and high-performance standards.
- Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate computer-based information and dispensing systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy of data capture.
- Manage purchasing and inventory functions to ensure cost-effective inventory management while maintaining timely availability of pharmaceuticals and related products.
- Facilitate professional growth of staff by assessing learning needs, styles, and barriers; coordinate learning opportunities.
- Prepare monthly progress and operational reports; identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
- Participate in departmental orientation, on-the-job training, and quality assurance programs.
- Engage in various departmental and hospital educational programs to maintain current skills and competencies; discuss performance or training needs with supervisors.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.
