HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your Role:
  • Is responsible for the overall coordination, operation, management, guidance, and control (including clinical services provided 24 hours/day, 7 days/week) of the Respiratory Care, Vascular Access Team [VAT] , and Inpatient Renal Dialysis departments, resulting in profitable growth, financial conservation, and the highest patient care quality.
  • Serves as a clinical and administrative resource to physicians, administrators, and others (as required), ensuring the department's efficient operation and a positive interface with all Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) departments and staff members.
  • Participates actively in department activities, multidisciplinary team activities, and TMH activities.
  • Ensures individualized, patient-centered health care for all patient populations.
  • Provides good clinical outcomes.
  • Uses resources cost-effectively.
  • Garners high employee, patient, and physician satisfaction scores.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a science field.

Preferred Education:
  • Master's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a science field.

Required Experience:
  • Five (5) years of experience in all areas of respiratory care.
    • Including three (3) years of management experience in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Experience:
  • Ten (10) years job related experience.
    • Including five (5) years of management experience in a healthcare setting.

Required Certification/License/Registry:
  • Licensed as a respiratory care practitioner in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 468 (Miscellaneous Professions and Occupations), Part V (Respiratory Therapy).
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care or its successor.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from an approved provider.
