Summary

We are looking for an Azure Technical Architect with expertise in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-availability cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will be skilled in defining cloud strategies, migrating legacy systems, and optimizing performance. Strong experience in Azure services, including ARM, Kubernetes (AKS), App Services, and Azure AD, along with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and security protocols, is required. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. Experience in banking and wealth management is a plus. This position offers an opportunity to drive cloud adoption, enhance operational efficiency, and deliver cost-effective solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Azure Architecture Design:
    Design and implement Azure-based architectures to meet the technical and business requirements, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  • Cloud Strategy Development:
    Define cloud strategies and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals. Guide teams on the best practices for implementing cloud-native solutions and migrating legacy systems to Azure.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions on Azure.
  • Solution Delivery:
    Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of cloud solutions, including planning, development, deployment, and optimization. Ensure solutions are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Security and Compliance:
    Ensure all Azure solutions adhere to security standards, compliance regulations, and governance policies. Manage identity, access, and security protocols across Azure services.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentoring:
    Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and operations teams. Review and approve architectural designs and code to ensure alignment with Azure best practices.
  • Performance Optimization:
    Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize the performance of Azure services, identifying potential improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Create detailed technical documentation, including solution architecture diagrams, system designs, and deployment strategies.

Eligibility Requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Networking, Virtual Machines (VMs), Kubernetes (AKS), App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Active Directory (AD).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure CLI), and infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • Proficiency in Azure Security (Azure Sentinel, Key Vault, and security services).
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitoring and Logging (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics).
  • Strong understanding of cloud migration strategies and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Wealth Management / Banking - Good to have experience on Banking applications and especially on Wealth Management area
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

In the US, the target base salary for this role is $145000-$150000. Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography. We expect the majority of candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall throughout the range based on these factors.
