Your role
In an effort to provide more seamless access for our wealthiest clients to our most differentiated products and capabilities, UBS recently announced the creation of a new "Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) Plus" client segment and the launch of an enhanced cross-divisional client service offering. In close coordination with the client's Financial Advisor, this client segment will be serviced by dedicated groups of subject matter experts across Wealth Management, the Investment Bank and Asset Management. Why? Sophisticated clients have sophisticated needs - we want to ensure clients continue to have the full suite of UBS capabilities at their fingertips.
Are you eager to help clients understand and meet their financial objectives? Are you comfortable working with financial advisors and senior leadership? Do you have an interest in asset allocation and portfolio construction?
We're looking for someone like that who can help us:
work in support of a senior portfolio strategist to deliver customized portfolio construction advice to financial advisors and their ultra-high net worth clients/prospects
conduct in-depth portfolio analysis at the asset allocation and investment level
produce bespoke presentations that outline our research, capabilities and views on asset allocation, portfolio construction and product fulfillment
develop fluency in all aspects of portfolio construction and effectively use all asset classes necessary to implement both strategic and tactical asset allocations
develop key partnerships throughout the firm to cultivate extensive knowledge of platforms and product offerings (both traditional and non-traditional)
contribute to the production of original investment content for internal and external distribution
collaborate with key partner groups such as alternative investments, advanced planning, philanthropy, banking, etc.

Detailed salary information:
Los Angeles: the salary range for this role is $135000 to $175000
The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
You will be a Portfolio Strategist in the Portfolio Advisory Group ("PAG"). We provide investment advice to Financial Advisors and Ultra High Net Worth clients and prospects, delivering the firm's intellectual capital and capabilities on asset allocation, portfolio construction and product/platform fulfillment. This role is located in the Los Angeles market and you will work closely with the PAG team members on the west coast and those in major offices around the US.

Your expertise
You have:
experience working in wealth management, private banking or asset management
strong knowledge of global financial markets, and a willingness to express your views
working knowledge of multi-asset class portfolio construction
ability to articulate research and implement in a portfolio context
desire to be client-facing and demonstrated experience with clients preferred
series 7 and 66 licenses strongly preferred, bachelor's degree required
an interest in pursuing the CFA, CFP, or CAIA tracks, or equivalent knowledge
minimum 5+ years of experience in financial services industry
You are:

excellent at organization, prioritization and time management
adept at initiating, nurturing and developing strong interpersonal relationships
