A Day in the Life
The Director, Transversal Sales Operations serves as a primary conduit for the Sales Operations team focused on analytics and insights. This person will work across all the Luxe brands and all channels using data analytics and insights to summarize the total division going deeper in the subsegment, product type to support driving the business forward.
Requirements
10+ years of related experience
Requires a recognized discipline expert within the company
Solves unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
Identifies applications of functional knowledge and existing methodologies to lead others to solve complex problems; provides advice on a wide range of issues within area of subject matter expertise
Contributes to setting standards around which others will operate within area of expertise
May lead programs/multiple projects and/or diverse functional teams
Strong analytical skills
Strong computer skills, with emphasis in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Strong ability to communicate (orally and in writing) complex information to many internal audiences with differing levels of knowledge
Experience working in a data warehouse environment
Understanding of the P&L
Analytical ability to influence decision making with facts and reasoning skills
Ability to analyze data at granular levels
Excellent communication / presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple business priorities concurrently
Ability to effectively work cross functionally
Prior experience working within an SAP environment a plus
Prior experience working with planning/forecasting a plus
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain retail sales tracking for senior leadership on retailers, axe, subaxe, and product level to drive strategic discussion and decision making
Develop and maintain key launch tracking and analysis in partnership with the Allocations and Marketing teams
Work with Marketing & Supply Chain teams to have an understanding of Launch Activity and the size of the launch within each Brand, ensuring that the brands planned the Retails and Nets Sales for the Budget/Trend
Streamline Sales Operations projects and involvement in PBI, key KPI commentary, ROI analysis on sales investments, WOS, enhanced analysis on add/delete
Use the Retails & Nets Sales to identify R&O in the retail plans based on marketing projected spend to support more productive P&L
Manage cross division projects including focus on forecasting, retail sales analytics, support on power bi data initiatives
Partner with the Omni Services & Education team on productivity analysis involving BAs, RSS, testing new designs and leveraging retailer data to drive decisions across the portfolio
