ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Senior Marketing Manager, Market Management is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Sound's products and services within a specific market, including analyzing market trends, managing brand image, overseeing marketing campaigns, and tracking performance to achieve sales goals and maximizing market penetration, etc.; typically requiring strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics and best-in-class marketing practices. The Senior Marketing Manager acts as senior strategist, go-to-market plan owner and tactical execution quarterback for marketing and communications activities for designated "markets" that Sound serves.

The Details: This is a full-time, remote position.
SALARY RANGE: $100,000- $135,000 annually. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographic location.

The Senior Marketing Manager, Market Management is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote Sound's products and services within a specific market, including analyzing market trends, managing brand image, overseeing marketing campaigns, and tracking performance to achieve sales goals and maximizing market penetration, etc.; typically requiring strong analytical skills, creative thinking, and a deep understanding of customer behavior and market dynamics and best-in-class marketing practices. The Senior Marketing Manager acts as senior strategist, go-to-market plan owner and tactical execution quarterback for marketing and communications activities for designated "markets" that Sound serves.

- Brand management: Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all marketing channels, ensuring brand messaging aligns with company values.
- Marketing strategy development: Create comprehensive marketing plans including target audience segmentation, positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional activities.
- Campaign management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels like digital marketing, social media, print, and events.
- Budget management: Allocate marketing budget effectively across different campaigns and initiatives while tracking ROI.
- Customer insights: Analyze customer data to identify trends, preferences, and pain points to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Sales collaboration: Work closely with sales teams to align marketing efforts with sales goals and provide support for lead generation.
- Performance tracking and reporting: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure campaign effectiveness, analyze results, and make data-driven adjustments.
- Team collaboration and leadership: Be a team player, lead and mentor a teammates of business colleagues, professionals, assigning tasks and providing guidance as appropriate. Accepting and assuming the same from others.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a trusted partner with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Growth Officer and the CEO(s) of assigned markets.
- Be a subject matter expert in designated markets.
- Know the hospital marketplace environments of the markets designated - Hospital Medicine, emergency departments, ICUs, Anesthesiology, and Accountable Care Organizations.
- Understand market landscape, competitors, strengths & weaknesses, market positions of various competitors and our brand.
- Develop and keep current S.W.O.T analyses for the business to understand and respond to with service line enhancements/adaptations, marketing, communications, sales tactics and in-place client servicing.
- Develop go-to-market strategies leveraging appropriate tactical components for marketing and awareness exposure in the markets.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field
- 5 - 7 years of experience in marketing
- 5+ years in healthcare, ideally hospital or clinic markets - Emergency services, hospitalists, anesthesiology, critical care/ICUs, etc.
