Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care to expectant mothers and their newborns. The ideal candidate will be experienced in high-risk deliveries, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum recovery. Monitoring: Continuously assess maternal and fetal status using advanced monitoring equipment and respond appropriately to changes. Collaboration: Work closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to manage patient care. Patient Support: Educate and support patients and families, providing guidance throughout the birthing process. Emergency Response: Act swiftly in obstetric emergencies, ensuring appropriate interventions and neonatal resuscitation when necessary.

Job Requirements:
- Experience:
- 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in Labor & Delivery.
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Licenses & Certifications:
- Registered Nurse License (valid in California).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field.
- 5+ years of recent experience (within the last 2 years) in Labor & Delivery.
- 1 year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last 2 years.
- High-Risk Obstetrics (OB) experience.
