Plans, manages, and coordinates the activities and personnel of the food supply, procurement, and vending teams; oversees the procurement storage, and distribution of inventory to all schools; audits and analyzes revenue and costs to ensure good fiscal stewardship; leads in strategic food services sourcing, procurement, and vendor management; manages inventory for food, supplies, and small equipment; provides strong leadership and analytical skills to optimize inventory levels, ensure efficient distribution, and implement cost-saving measures; collaborates within the division, the community, and with external vendors; exercises leadership to design, create, implement, assess, and revise programs or activities of the office.

Qualifications
Required
- Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the assignment including or supplemented by coursework in the principles, concepts, and methods relevant to the section.
- Five (5) years of experience in food services management, and/or supply chain management, some of which shall have been in a supervisory role.
- Advanced degree(s) beyond the minimum degree requirement in a relevant field may be considered for some experience.
- Knowledge of the theories, procedures, practices, materials, and methods related to logistics, food service warehousing, and procurement.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations, legislation, policy, and operational procedures.
- Knowledge of sources of supply, commodity pricing methods, and marketing practices.
- Proficiency in the use of technology and data compilation, analysis, and reporting.
- Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate bids and proposals.
- Ability to manage, evaluate, and supervise program activities and personnel.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with diverse personnel, students, families, and the community.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and/or present information to groups.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Master's degree in related field.
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
