NATURE OF DUTIES:
The Regional Practice Administrator serves as the primary administrative resource for the region's Practice Administrator Leaders and makes recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer on all personnel decisions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
The primary responsibility of the Regional Practice Administrator is to the manager's clinic in the role of Practice Administrator. A secondary responsibility is that of Regional Practice Administrator.
The Regional Practice Administrator oversees all aspects of CIS operations in the assigned locations and administers the policies and procedures set by the Board of Directors, EVP of Practice Administration, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Operating Officer.
The Regional Practice Administrator is a resource to the CEO, COO and CFO for all matters related to the region represented.
The Regional Practice Administrator serves as the primary administrative resource for the region's Practice Administrator Leaders and makes recommendations to the Chief Operating Officer on all personnel decisions such as new hires, personnel changes, and terminations. Practice Administrator of each region will report directly to the assigned Regional Practice Administrator for their specific region.
The Regional Practice Administrator reviews, monitors, and evaluates day-to-day and long-term procedures being followed by each CIS office or department in the region and institutes changes or recommends same to the Chief Operating Officer.
The Regional Practice Administrator provides advice to the Chief Operating Officer on all aspects of operations within the assigned region. The Regional Practice Administrator will create and submit routine operational and financial reports to be submitted to the COO.
The Regional Practice Administrator represents CIS with regards to any aspect of any clinic or department within the assigned region to any outside parties or interested individuals.
The Regional Practice Administrator serves as an advisor and intermediary on issues related to Human Resource management working in conjunction with the CIS Human Resource Manager. The Regional Practice Administrator will work with HR to determine new hire salary rates being cognizant of existing staff salaries and the companies' financial position.
The Regional Practice Administrator serves as an advisor to issues related to physician work schedules, vacation requests, and call schedules.
The Regional Practice Administrator will address all employee needs as they relate to benefits, special circumstances, cell phones (when appropriate), work schedules, etc. The Regional Practice Administrator will play an integral role in the promotion of corporate objectives such as LEAN, Level Loading of Patient Schedules, Patient Satisfaction, Employee Satisfaction, and other corporate objectives that may be initiated from time to time.
Performs other related duties as assigned and serves in whatever other capacity deemed necessary for successful completion of the mission and goals of CIS and in accordance with CIS's patient philosophy.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION:
Experience managing a clinic, department, or specific function of CIS or a comparable medical practice.
Experience in developing or implementing successful operations and standards for a medical practice.
Experience supervising medical and non-medical personnel in a health care environment.
Certification as a Certified Medical Practice Executive.
