As part of CDW's services organization, the Senior Delivery Consultant - AWS collaborates with clients and internal teams to deliver automated, cloud-native solutions primarily using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires deep technical expertise in AWS, cloud automation, and DevOps practices.
We are seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant with extensive experience in AWS cloud solutions to lead cloud projects, provide expert guidance, and work closely with clients to implement AWS solutions that drive security, scalability, and business alignment.

We are seeking a Senior Delivery Consultant with extensive experience in AWS cloud solutions to lead cloud projects, provide expert guidance, and work closely with clients to implement AWS solutions that drive security, scalability, and business alignment.
Key areas of responsibility
- Cloud Architecture & Design: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective AWS solutions.
- AWS Landing Zone Setup: Establish a secure and scalable AWS Landing Zone, which serves as the foundation for deploying and managing workloads efficiently across multiple AWS accounts.
- Migration & Deployment: Lead cloud migrations, workload optimizations, and deployments using AWS best practices.
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible for automated provisioning.
- Security & Compliance: Design and implement security best practices across AWS environments, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, and GDPR. This includes setting up Identity and Access Management (IAM), encryption, monitoring, and governance policies.
- Collaboration & Consulting: Work closely with CDW Solution Architects and engage with clients to understand their business requirements, provide strategic recommendations, and guide them through cloud adoption.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS resources for cost and efficiency.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Implement AWS monitoring solutions such as Amazon CloudWatch, AWS Config, and AWS Security Hub to continuously optimize performance, security, and cost.
- DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitoring & Logging: Set up monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and third-party tools.
- Training & Mentoring: Provide guidance to junior engineers and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Stay Updated on AWS Innovations: Keep up with the latest AWS services, trends, and best practices to bring cutting-edge solutions to clients.
Education / Experience / Required Skills / Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in deployment of automated private/public cloud solutions
- Desired Certifications: AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS Solutions Architect Professional
- Additional technology areas and experience: Linux, Cloud platform specific automation tooling, additional scripting languages, additional software development languages, data experience, networking experience
- Technical Expertise:
- Compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS)
- Networking (VPC, Route 53, Transit Gateway)
- Storage & Databases (S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora)
- Security (IAM, KMS, AWS Shield, WAF)
- Automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- DevOps & CI/CD (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Must have experience with AWS Organizations, AWS Security Hub, AWS Audit Manager, AWS Config.
- Must be familiar with migration tools including AWS MGN, AWS DMS, AWS SCT, AWS DataSync, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, AWS Migration Hub, AWS Storage Gateway, and the AWS Snow Family.
- Scripting & Programming: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Cloud Cost Management: Experience with AWS cost optimization and billing strategies.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
