As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine dental cleanings and scaling procedures
- Conducting periodontal assessments and charting
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Assisting the dentist with exams and identifying potential treatment needs
- Taking and reviewing digital X-rays as needed
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating treatment plans
- Ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols are followed
- Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is open, positive, and flexible, with a passion for patient care. The ideal candidate will have:
- An active Dental Hygiene license in the state of Illinois
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Dentrix (preferred but not required - willing to train!)
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to continuing education and professional growth
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply!

Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
