Experience and Skills
Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the operation, maintenance, and testing of HM&E Systems, Machinery Control, Damage Control, Navigation & Ship Control Systems, subsystems, equipment, and components
- Responsible for all technical aspects of shipboard design, operations, maintenance, testing and evaluating projects and associated modifications, alterations, installations and upgrades for military vessels and small crafts
- Review and analyze drawings to support material requirements and test plan/procedure development
- Assist Program Managers and Project Leads with both Surface and Submarine Alterations, Repair or Fleet Modernization projects
- Ensure projects and initiatives progress as scheduled and contract specifications are adhered to
- Interface with clients and customers regarding tasks
- Perform duties outside of specialty to complete work assignment
