Job Description
Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Specialty: Ortho, Neuro & Physiatry

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8-hour day shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Prefer 1 year of experience in an ambulatory setting

License: Certification from AMT, NCCT, AAMA, NAHP, or NHA

Certifications: BLS AHA

Must-Have: EPIC experience

Job Description:

- Perform general Medical Assistant duties including rooming patients, collecting vitals, and updating Epic.
- Prepare and assist with joint injections.
- Handle phone calls and in-basket messaging.
- Utilize Epic EMR for computerized charting.
- Work in a clinic setting with other MAs, RNs, APPs, and physicians; no call or weekends required.
- May float to satellite locations as needed.
- Adhere to dress code: scrubs.
- Attend new caregiver orientation.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
