Summary:
CHS is seeking a strategic and innovative Portfolio Leader (Technology Partner) to develop and manage a value-oriented catalog of technology services. The Senior Director of Digital Clinical Services will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the organization's digital strategy within the clinical services domain. This leadership position involves overseeing the development and management of a comprehensive digital services portfolio, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving continuous improvement to enhance patient care and operational excellence. Additionally, this role is responsible for defining and implementing the Portfolio Leader - Technology Partner function within the broader Digital Business unit, ensuring alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives.
The Portfolio Leader will act as a trusted partner and key liaison between Digital Technology and internal business customers. This senior-level role is pivotal in driving cohesive collaboration, aligning organizational strategy, and delivering measurable business value through technology service management and lifecycle optimization. The Portfolio Lead will oversee CHS digital technology solutions within the Digital Clinical Services portfolio, managing them as services to ensure they deliver business value while maintaining a balance between quality, security, and cost efficiency. These solutions may include packaged software or custom-built systems requiring continuous improvement, maintenance, and updates to meet business needs and maintain alignment with organizational goals. This role demands a visionary leader with exceptional communication skills, the ability to build and sustain strategic relationships, and a deep, dual understanding of customer's business and technology service management. Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain the portfolio service catalog, standards, processes, and procedures.
- Align portfolio initiatives with the organization's strategy and business objectives.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, incubating and piloting innovative services to meet portfolio needs.
- Promote practical innovation while ensuring cost-effective development and delivery of portfolio services
- Define and lead strategic planning activities for managed portfolio with Digital Technology stakeholders and corresponding Business Partner, including portfolio financing and budget
- Partner with business and digital leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive target operating model for the Digital Business - Technology Partner role that aligns with business goals and drives operational efficiency.
- Lead the development of the digital transformation roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategies and priorities.
- Partner with digital and business leadership to ensure the adoption of best practices and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Business, Management or Computer Science
- Masters Degree in MIS or related field
- 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within portfolio or product management.
- Strong ability to build and sustain strategic relationships across business and technology teams.
- Deep knowledge of service development lifecycle, product management, and modern technology frameworks.
- Exceptional skills in strategic planning, governance, and financial oversight.
- A visionary mindset with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering measurable value.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve project objectives.
