About the Role
Join our HR Executive Team to lead the development and execution of effective employee communication strategies that enhance understanding of and engagement in Children's Health People programs. As a key member of the Human Resources Learning and Leadership Institute (HRLLI) and Senior Leadership Team, you will create and deliver employee-facing content that is informative, inclusive, innovative, and engaging, ensuring HR content aligns with Children's Health vision, values, and inclusive culture priorities.

About the Role
Join our HR Executive Team to lead the development and execution of effective employee communication strategies that enhance understanding of and engagement in Children's Health People programs. As a key member of the Human Resources Learning and Leadership Institute (HRLLI) and Senior Leadership Team, you will create and deliver employee-facing content that is informative, inclusive, innovative, and engaging, ensuring HR content aligns with Children's Health vision, values, and inclusive culture priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with HR executives to understand strategic priorities and develop communication plans to support desired results
- Ensure alignment on communication content, strategy, and messaging for HRLLI executive team
- Lead development of strategic presentations and town hall materials for enterprise-wide gatherings
- Capture the authentic voice of leadership in written communications and shape internal communications narrative
- In partnership with other HR executives and key stakeholders, design and implement change management strategies to support complex HR initiatives
Program Management
- Develop and deliver employee communication campaigns for key programs that span across the employment life cycle including annual enrollment, performance management, merit planning, and talent planning
- Maintain a comprehensive HRLLI Communications calendar with timely content across multiple channels
- Measure impact of communication efforts and develop insights to inform future strategies
- Oversee employee intranet knowledge documents and ensure effective governance
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Strong partnership and collaboration with Marketing & Communications and Digital IS teams to ensure consistency and alignment with enterprise strategies
- Build trusted relationships with HR leaders by providing strategic messaging advice
- Manage relationships with HR Communication vendors, overseeing contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements
- Support HR Centers of Expertise with tailored communications to increase employee engagement and support a positive employee experience
Qualifications
Experience
- At least 10 years' experience in progressive leadership roles in communications and change management strategies with a focus on support for Human Resources and employee communications
- Significant track record of success in support of major and complex people communications
- Proven leadership to develop, maintain and capitalize on relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Proven experience in managing internal communications, executive communications and publications to increase support of HR Centers of Expertise and employee engagement
- Experience operating effectively in medium to large organizations with complex and matrixed reporting structures
- Strong project management skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
