Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Messaging & Directory Services Engineer maintains and monitors all Firmwide IT Messaging Systems. This position provides messaging systems solutions and support to end-users across all practice groups. The Messaging & Directory Services Engineer works under minimal supervision and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

- Resolve help desk tickets escalated from local IT per the service level agreement (SLA)
- Maintain and monitor all Firmwide IT Messaging Systems
- Plan, test, and validate messaging maintenance tasks such as upgrading and patching network systems
- Process all IT tasks regarding the Firm's new hires and terminations
- Schedule and maintain the Enterprise Archive Solution (EAS) system
- Manage template updates to the server for Attorney Evaluations and other HR Information Systems
- Assist in resolving server shut downs for local offices Firmwide
- Collaborate with the Information Governance (IG) team to retrieve confidential compliance data and maintain legal holds

Job Specifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- At least three (3) years of related experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint and Word
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook and Excel
- Knowledge of administering IBM Domino and Office 365/Azure and supporting Outlook in an Exchange/O365 environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
- Ability to work independently, under own initiative and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel and work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours

Target Hiring Range $107,000 - $165,000

Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
