Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive acquisition security expertise in support of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center's Mobility and Training Aircraft and Presidential and Executive Airlift Directorates comprised of multiple platforms and encompassing the complete spectrum of security management, analyses, and technical support to government security staff personnel in the development, implementation, and administration of collateral, SAP and SCI security program policies and procedures
  • Demonstrate experience and expertise handling extremely sensitive classified material and shall demonstrate precise understanding of regulatory guidance, policy and direction in an integrated environment
  • Provide expertise, advice, and assistance to Security Managers, PSO, Government SAP Security Officers, and PM related to SAP and SCI security policy and procedures across all security disciplines
  • Provide technical analyses of program requirements and create comprehensive, cost effective, efficient security programs through distillation of expertise at staff meetings, prepare and/or present briefings, graphics and visual aids, communicate with customer locations across the mobility and training aircraft enterprise over secure video teleconferencing systems and computer networks, using Government program office software and systems
  • Report program security incidents and violations and monitor security incident investigations and prepare reports as identified on a case-by case basis by the Program Security Officer (PSO)
  • Assist with preparing and processing Program Access Requests (PAR) for individuals requiring access to directorate programs
  • Screen and verify all required forms and documentation to ensure they are complete and accurate before submitting to the PSO for signature; review each request received to determine validity for access indicated; conduct Defense Clearance and Investigations Index, Defense Information Security System (DISS), and local files checks; and accomplishing program indoctrination and maintaining list of approved and briefed personnel
  • Plan, manage, and administer the security education program to ensure material relative to special security programs is presented annually


Required Qualifications

One of the following combinations of education/experience:
  • Advanced Degree (Master of Arts (MA)/Master of Science (MS)) and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD - OR-
  • BA/BS degree, and fifteen (15) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five (5) of which must be in the DoD - OR-
  • HS Diploma, and twenty (20) years of directly related experience, eight (8) of which must be in the DoD
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of, and shall have 10 years of experience with, special security programs including Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP).
  • Secret Security clearance is required to start. Ability to acquire and maintain a Top-Secret clearance is required.
