First Look: Jr. SEO Audience Manager
The Arena Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SEO Audience Manager to join our growing audience development team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of SEO who is eager to learn and contribute to growing organic traffic across multiple digital properties. You will support the audience team by assisting in content optimization, SEO research, and performance tracking while collaborating with editorial and marketing teams. The ideal candidate has a passion for digital media, an interest in audience growth strategies, and a desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Arena Group's expected annualized base salary range for this position is currently $75,000 - $95,000. Actual salaries will vary based on multiple factors including location, education, experience and other factors permitted by law. The listed salary range is but one component of The Arena Group's total compensation and benefits available to its employees. What You'll Do:
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Track and analyze content performance metrics using platforms like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Trends.
- Support editorial teams by providing SEO recommendations for evergreen and timely content.
- Monitor Google Discover trends and identify optimization opportunities for increased visibility and understand best practices to improve impressions and CTR.
- Help with regular SEO audits, checking for broken links, missing metadata, and other basic technical SEO elements.
- Provide reports on audience insights, traffic trends, and content performance.
- Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to refining SEO strategies.
- Work collaboratively with editorial, marketing, and social media teams to align audience growth efforts.
What You'll Bring:
- 2-4 years of experience in SEO, digital content, and/or audience development.
- Basic understanding of on-page SEO best practices, including URL structures, meta titles, and headlines.
- Experience using SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, or SEMRush.
- Ability to analyze traffic data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- General knowledge of content marketing, search trends, and audience behavior.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for digital media, audience growth, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from senior team members.
