We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Manager of Finance to join our Franchise Transformation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights and support to drive the growth and profitability of 1) nearest term: our joint venture restaurants; and 2) over time: other franchised restaurants requiring transformation support. This role requires a strong background in finance, restaurant P&Ls and franchise financial statements, competitive benchmarking, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate Manager of Finance to join our Franchise Transformation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial insights and support to drive the growth and profitability of 1) nearest term: our joint venture restaurants; and 2) over time: other franchised restaurants requiring transformation support. This role requires a strong background in finance, restaurant P&Ls and franchise financial statements, competitive benchmarking, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Near Term: Support Financial Analysis and Forecasting for Joint Venture Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions for the joint venture, including restaurant and overall entity P&Ls and cash flows.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement financial, operational and local marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ability to utilize data for creation of PowerBI Dashboard Reports and Summaries.
- Monitor and report on financial performance and operational KPIs, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Ability to develop repeatable processes and routines that drive insights, performance improvements, and transparency into the state of the joint venture. This includes, but is not limited to, preparation and presentation of financial & strategic reports to leadership and joint venture partners.
- Manage financial budgets and forecasts, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscape to recommend business and financial levers to minimize risk and catalyze growth.
- Foster strong relationships with joint venture partners and joint venture management team, ensuring alignment and collaboration on financial & operational efforts.
Longer term: Broader Franchisee Transformation
- Leverage processes and insights from the joint venture to develop ongoing financial support for future Fzee transformation opportunities.
- Perform similar analyses for other Franchisees, identifying key opportunities for Fzee improvement including restaurant profitability, operational opportunities and Fzee cash flow management.
Required Qualifications:
- You will be required to attend the Plano, TX office 3 days a week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
- Minimum of 5[-7] years of experience in finance and financial statements; experience in the restaurant or retail industry highly preferred.
- Proven track record of conducting financial analysis and modeling. Knowledge of valuation methodologies a huge plus.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to develop insights & recommendations that drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced capabilities with the Microsoft 365 suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
