Job Details:
The qualified candidate will be conducting activities through mapping manufacturing processes, assessing interactions between production and MRP, and providing data analysis on developing forecasts. This will include operation assessments through spreadsheets, queries, and models for various what if analyses. Through providing business strategy communication, the candidate will be building pivot tables & charts, simulations, reports, and various other analytical tools through Microsoft Office Programs. As a part of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Research Team, the candidate will provide visualization of key data and insights for client leadership presentations.
Required Qualifications:
Strong understanding in statistics and data analysis methods as well as knowledge of process management techniques
Ability to interface directly with clients and customer organizations to understand client issues, data sources, content and provide explanatory conclusions.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with an emphasis on Excel
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Education Qualifications:
BS in Engineering or STEM field (Industrial Engineering preferred but not required)
5+ years of work experience in the defense industry
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Engineering or Management
Familiarity with Project Management tools (MS Project, Atlassian Jira, MRP systems, etc.)
Experience in building data driven metrics geared towards improving defined business outcomes
Understanding of Earned Value metric calculations and interpretation.
