Location: Ft. Worth, TX
Base Salary: $90K - $100K with bonus potential

This role involves managing the facility's infrastructure, implementing capital projects, and improving production systems while ensuring cost control, safety, and quality enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a desire to work in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee facility operations, including buildings, grounds, utilities, services, equipment, and the alarm system.
- Develop and manage the capital budget, including preparing, justifying, and submitting capital requisitions.
- Coordinate with the Sourcing Manager on research, purchase, delivery, and setup of capital items such as new equipment and machinery.
- Analyze manufacturing systems and processes to recommend changes that enhance efficiency, safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and manage the department's annual expense budget while ensuring cost control and cost-consciousness.
- Collaborate closely with plant supervision to enhance workstation productivity and optimize manufacturing workflows.
- Design jigs, fixtures, and other production equipment as needed.
- Maintain and update plant equipment layouts for optimal operational efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate Lean manufacturing initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the facility.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Experience in multiple engineering disciplines.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in initiating and completing engineering projects within a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and experience with electro-mechanical systems, automated manufacturing processes, control/feedback systems, PLCs, or similar technologies preferred.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment, electrical and hydraulic design, lean principles, and process optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative manufacturing setting.
