Summary
The Division of Infectious Diseases and the Division of Emergency Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine are recruiting a qualified physician to be part of a Pediatric Infectious Diseases team and a Pediatric Emergency Medicine team at the new state-of-the-art North Austin campus. The North Austin campus is comprised of a 52 bed, 365,000-square foot inpatient hospital and an adjacent 170,000-square foot outpatient facility offering a full suite of specialties and subspecialties. This position offers:
The qualified applicant will have successfully completed a Fellowship Program in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Emergency Medicine patient care experience is preferred. Board certification (or Board eligible) in Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Pediatric Emergency Medicine is required.
The physician will spend 30% of her/his time on the inpatient consultation service for Pediatric Infectious Diseases and 20% of his/her time in patient care for Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
