Position: Electrical Engineering Manager
Location: Tampa, Fl (or Clearwater)
Overview: This is a great hand on Electrical Engineering Manager opportunity with an established leader in the industry.
Responsibilities:
The Electrical Engineering Department Manager will:
Will be responsible for managing the department and projects from the design through completion with multiple project team members.
Will interact with clients, conduct preliminary evaluations, prepare reports, produce detailed specifications and drawings, and prepare permit submittals.
Will provide leadership and coordinate with the project team regarding RFIs, submittals, contract modifications, and other changes.
Will analyze processes and systems to identify ways to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs.
Requirements:
Be a licensed PE with at least 10 (15 to 20+ preferred) 25 years of relative electrical engineering experience in the water/wastewater market
Hands-on knowledge of power distribution, backup generators, motor controls, lighting, grounding system design and specifications.
Experience utilizing AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or Revit a plus
Management experience is highly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities, etc...
Permitting experience with state, local and federal agencies.
