Salary: $100,000 - $140,000 per year based on experience (bonus structure available)

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in senior living, preferably in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC).
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Licensed Nursing Home or Assisted Living Administrator (or eligible to obtain within Virginia).
• Proven track record of effective leadership in a direct service organization.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively with senior management, staff, and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google applications, email, and database systems.

About the Role:

As the Associate Executive Director, you will work closely with the Executive Director and play a crucial role in shaping our organizational culture, fostering teamwork, and executing Lakewood's mission and vision. This dynamic leadership position offers an opportunity for mentorship and personal growth in executive leadership within a CCRC environment.

You will help lead and guide department heads, collaborate across all levels of the organization, and ensure continuous growth and success at Lakewood. If you're ready to make a difference in senior living and grow as a strategic leader, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and stakeholders to promote the organization's mission, vision, and values.
• Operations: Support the Executive Director in overseeing community management, operations, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and human capital management.
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the implementation of the community's strategic plan, guiding future programming, services, and infrastructure needs.
• Team Development: Lead hiring, training, and mentoring efforts, ensuring a motivated and empowered workforce.
• Financial & Regulatory Oversight: Assist in managing the budget, ensuring financial objectives are met, and maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Resident & Family Relations: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service and transparent communication, addressing resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
