Position Summary
Legal Counsel - The Corporate Counsel position is a critical position within the organization that provides a variety of general corporate and commercial legal services to its cross-functional partners. The Corporate Counsel manages legal matters pertaining to the organization, including but not limited to advising on matters related to privacy, cybersecurity, AI, international, employment, corporate and contract law and dietary supplement and cosmetic regulations. The position requires an attorney who is able to handle complex legal matters and advise on appropriate legal action to be taken.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
- Manages privacy, cybersecurity, and AI legal matters
- Manages and oversees compliance with international legal and corporate matters, such as employment, anti-bribery, corporate governance, dietary supplement, and cosmetic regulatory matters
- Drafts and negotiates general contracts, third party agreements, and vendor supplier relationships
- Advises on and manages internal policies and procedures
- Manages government affairs
- Manages external counsel
Education and/or Experience
- Law degree with admission to a State Bar
- 3+ years and law experience of applicable law practice experience
- Mix of prior law firm and in-house experience is preferred
Qualifications/Skills
- Experience in privacy, cybersecurity, international, regulatory, litigation, employment, and contract law
- Ability to professionally respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies, customers and business community
- Superior writing and legal analysis skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to organize large amounts of information with attention to detail
- Can-do attitude that views legal department as a problem solver and risk mitigator
