Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve growth targets in the water and wastewater sectors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within municipalities and utility companies.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry associations.
- Lead the proposal process for new projects, ensuring alignment with company capabilities and client needs.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create targeted campaigns and presentations for potential clients.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions and strategies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the water, wastewater, or utilities industries.
- Strong understanding of pipeline construction and water supply systems.
- Proven track record of successfully winning large-scale projects and contracts.
- Experience using CRM software, such as Salesforce, for managing sales processes and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management abilities.
