As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and support to our projects and Product Introduction (PI) teams. You will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving various technical and quality issues with Alstom products during the commissioning and warranty phases.

Pay: $95,000 USD - $115,000 USD

Could you be the Field Service Engineer we're looking for?
Your future role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and support to our projects and Product Introduction (PI) teams. You will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving various technical and quality issues with Alstom products during the commissioning and warranty phases.
We'll look to you for:
- Supporting technical activities on Alstom products during the PI period, as well as commissioning and warranty processes.
- Diagnosing malfunctions and recommending preventive and corrective actions.
- Defining troubleshooting methodologies and providing technical guidance to technicians during repairs.
- Collaborating closely with the quality team to drive Kx (8D) issues and ensure product performance.
- Maintaining comprehensive and quality input into the Failure Management database for reliability analysis.
- Facilitating technical reviews and ensuring effective information flow across project teams and stakeholders.
- Applying Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements on site.
Pay: $95,000 USD - $115,000 USD

- A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in Rolling-stock Engineering or Validation.
- Knowledge of Propulsion/Traction systems and instrumentation setup for data analysis.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities.
- The ability to work flexibly, including occasional business travel on short notice.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in a technical role within the transport industry is advantageous, though not required.
Salary Range:
- $95,000 USD - $115,000.USD
