The Imaging Informatics Manager is responsible for ensuring 24 7 365 functionality of all imaging and related systems for the healthcare system to ensure business continuity.
The Imaging Informatics Administrator is responsible for managing informatics operations team members, projects, customer service, vendor relationships, and all imaging related software, hardware, interfaces and support devices across the healthcare system.

Experience: 10 years of related experience. Requires advanced knowledge in highly specialized systems and procedures.

Provides direct support to team of Imaging Informatics Specialists. responsible for imaging support desk functions.
Highly knowledgeable regarding Imaging Informatics. ability to operate with a high degree of tact. excellent communication skills. ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree required in Radiology or Computer Science. Master's preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Radiology, IT or related field.
Knowledgeable in, but not limited to: TCP IP, DICOM standards, HL7, SQL, Microsoft Access, SAN NAN Storage, LAN WAN concept and design, and clinical workflows, systems design, analysis and development.
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Prior experience managing projects, budgeting and operations.
Prior experience coordinating implementations in an enterprise environment.
Required participation in call rotation.

Functions
Area of Responsibilities
Responsible for 24 7 365 support of Imaging (Radiology & Cardiology, onsite and remote) systems and related third party devices (software, hardware) as well as servers, SANS, and imaging archives for the healthcare system. Responsible for Hardware Administration, Maintenance, Repair and support of imaging services.
Subject Matter Expert for Radiology Applications, Services and related Technology across the Heathcare System. Familiarity with troubleshooting strategies to minimize time to resolution and reduce costs.
Responsible for workstation design, procurement, assembly, set up, site preparation, maintenance, calibration and ongoing support, both on and offsite.
Leads Imaging Informatics projects, enhancements, upgrades and patches from inquiry to implementation, verification, validation, planning, testing and maintenance.
Coordinates assignment of resources to Imaging Projects, Operations and Incidents. Works in collaboration with IT to ensure cross functionality and communication.
Responsible for maintaining master list of applications, service contracts, warranty coverage, hardware and software for Imaging Informatics.
In conjunction with Imaging Director, develops strategies to optimize imaging across the system to meet business objectives, while managing current budget, operations and expenses.
Ensures business continuity, data integrity and security of Imaging and related systems.
Sustain and optimize diverse professional relationships both within and external to the healthcare system.
Identifies and navigates real and or perceived barriers to change. transforms concepts to operational models.
Manages vendor relationships, deliverables and required service to KPI's.
