Position Summary

Responsible for oversight of specific activities within the Outage Management area of ownership. Position supports nuclear plant outage-related activities and its consistency with the organization's policy and regulatory requirements.

To obtain and maintain employment and unescorted access at DCPP, you must be able to pass a drug and alcohol screen, a security background check, psychological screen, computer-based training, and be subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:
California Minimum: $116,000
California Maximum: $184,000

Job Responsibilities
  • Drives the strategic force behind the effort to improve outage performance including implementing new processes, and creating new external sourcing arrangements for their area of responsibility.
  • Identifies and drives gap initiative efforts to reduce outage duration for their area of responsibility.
  • Initiates and supervises improvements in outage processes based on most recent refueling outage critiques for their are of responsibility
  • Oversees and refines cost reduction initiatives related to their area of responsibility
  • Manages large data sets and converts them into visual management tools to be used for outage preparation, scheduling and reviews


Qualifications

Minimum:
  • High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
  • Job-related experience, 3 years


Desired:
  • Previous Reactor Operator (RO) or Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license; or SRO Certification at DCPP
  • BS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering
  • Three years of nuclear power plant operations experience
  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with Primavera, SAP, Excel, SharePoint and Power BI
