The contractor will provide critical support in operational planning by engaging in a variety of planning teams and working groups, including Operational Planning Teams (OPT), Joint Planning Teams (JPT), Cross-Functional Teams (CFT), All Domain Integrated Planning Teams, FOPS Working Groups, Line of Effort (LOE) Working Groups, O&I management, Campaign Synchronization Boards, and Campaign Decision Boards. The contractor will leverage extensive experience in USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, and theater-level operations to ensure synchronization, integration, and timely execution of campaigns, supporting USINDOPACOM objectives and mission requirements across multiple domains and operational environments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operational Planning and Coordination: Actively participate in Operational Planning Teams (OPT), Joint Planning Teams (JPT), and All Domain Integrated Planning Teams to support the development, integration, and execution of operational plans, with a specific focus on USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, and theater-level objectives. Ensure that all operational plans align with the strategic objectives of the Indo-Pacific region.
- Theater-Specific Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge and experience in USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, and theater operations to inform planning decisions, offering insights into regional threats, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure operational plans reflect the unique dynamics and requirements of the Indo-Pacific theater.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams within USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, and other theater commands to ensure synchronized and integrated planning across all domains (land, air, sea, and special operations), ensuring that all operations, activities, and investments (OAIs) align with overall strategic objectives.
- Campaign Synchronization: Participate in Campaign Synchronization Boards and Campaign Decision Boards, ensuring timely, informed decision-making that supports ongoing operations and the achievement of campaign goals within the USINDOPACOM and MARFORPAC areas of responsibility (AOR).
- O&I Management: Manage and oversee the coordination of Operations & Initiatives (O&I), ensuring effective synchronization of operational activities and the timely flow of information across various commands, including USINDOPACOM and MARFORPAC, to drive decision-making and mission success.
- Line of Effort Working Groups: Engage with Line of Effort Working Groups to develop and refine Lines of Effort (LOEs) that drive operational success and address the strategic priorities of USINDOPACOM and MARFORPAC, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources and personnel across multiple operations.
- Timely Decision Support: Provide critical input into decision-making processes during Campaign Decision Boards and other high-level planning forums, offering strategic guidance and recommendations to ensure rapid, informed decisions in the face of evolving operational requirements.
- Regional Threat Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of emerging threats within the USINDOPACOM AOR, particularly in relation to the changing security landscape in the Indo-Pacific region. Develop operational plans and strategies that effectively counter regional threats, leveraging the full spectrum of capabilities across MARFORPAC, USINDOPACOM, and allied forces.
- Collaboration with Senior Leadership: Work closely with senior leadership within USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, and other theater commands, ensuring alignment of planning efforts with higher-level objectives. Provide briefings, reports, and analysis to leadership on the status of operations, challenges, and recommendations for adjustments.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and operational documents to ensure senior leadership, interagency partners, and multinational forces are fully informed of planning progress, risks, and outcomes.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master's degree. Will consider a bachelor's degree with 10+ years of operations planning experience at MAJCOM, Combatant Command or equivalent.
- Demonstrated understanding of Marine Corps Planning Process and the Research, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation (RPIE) public planning process.
- Five to 10 years of experience with USMC MAGTF Planning.
- In-depth knowledge of operational planning, communication synchronization, service and joint doctrine, and Marine Corps componence issues.
- Advanced proficiency with using Microsoft applications such as Excel, Teams, Words, Power Pt., etc.
- Possess a working knowledge of the Pacific theater, and an understanding of the relationships and general interactions between each nation.
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

- Extensive knowledge of USINDOPACOM, MARFORPAC, and theater-level planning processes and operations.
- Strong understanding of operational art, campaign design, and joint/combined operational planning in a complex, multi-domain environment.
- Familiarity with the challenges and operational environment within the Indo-Pacific region, including regional security dynamics, threats, and strategic priorities.
- Ability to manage and synchronize multiple planning efforts, ensuring alignment with theater objectives and requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Travel may be required.
- Required to sit for extended periods of time and maintain focus.
- Qualification as an authorized company driver is required.
- All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- A TS/SCI Clearance is required for this position.
ESTIMATED COMPENSATION
- $120,000 - $160,000.00
