The ideal candidate will be a key contributor in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, while supporting the Controller in various accounting and financial management functions. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven accounting professional to advance their career in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Typical pay for this position is $75,000-95,000/year. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected. This position may also be eligible for a bonus not included in the base pay range.

This is an on-site role.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.
  • Account Reconciliation: Perform and review account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Month-End/Year-End Close: Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Internal Controls: Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • Audit Support: Provide support for internal and external audits, including preparing schedules and responding to inquiries.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist with tax filings and compliance, including sales tax, property tax, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Supervisory Duties: May supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Perform other accounting and financial duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 3 + years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with experience in product-based business.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
