Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The main office is located in Lexington, KY, but you will need to travel to projects throughout the US. Compensation for travel and per diem provided.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, ensuring that it is delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to drive project success.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and work plans.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Communicate project status updates and reports to clients, executives, and team members.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, including delays and budget overruns.
  • Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and efficiency on job sites.

Project Manager Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and construction-related applications.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, contracts, and technical documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • OSHA certification and PMP certification are a plus.


Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40-$50/hr plus $125/day per diem while traveling
