Software Developer - Expert
Seeking a PowerBuilder Software Developer to handle maintenance of legacy applications written in PowerBuilder.
Day to Day Tasks:
Participate in the design review sessions regarding the program area and the existing data sets and application. As needs arise, modify and support the applications until they can be replaced with a modern web-based version.
Day to day tasks will include, but are not limited to implementing requirements by designing, coding, and testing new features. Documenting code-based business rules.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Software Developer - Is involved with all facets of the software development process, including the research, design, programming, testing and implementation of computer software.
Expert - 84+ Months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
Requested Qualifications:
- 84 months of experience with coding client-server relational database applications using PowerBuilder.
- 84 months of experience with Oracle and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating tables, stored procedures, triggers, views, and other objects.
- 48 months of experience with writing complex SQL queries and reports; experience with data manipulation, data migration, creation of ETL scripts.
- 48 Months experience as a lead developer on complex projects.
