We are looking to expand, and, in the Account Executive role, you will be on the ground floor of a new sales team. This role will be the next component of a scalable, repeatable sales engine and we are looking for professionals who want to win and who have a sense of urgency to do so.

The Role

Armed with a deep understanding of the technical challenges small and medium sized businesses face and where those issues stand in the way of strategic initiatives and day to day productivity, you will work diligently to develop new relationships with prospective businesses. Motivated by the knowledge that the services we sell are directly responsible for empowering clients, Account Executives exceed sales goals and break into Chicago's most influential small and medium sized businesses.

You will be responsible for finding, pursuing and closing new business opportunities within targeted accounts in the Chicago area. Each client is different and has their own current approach to handling their IT support and strategy. Account Executives see these differences as opportunities to teach prospective clients where their definition of good is different from ours.

Requirements

Core Responsibilities
  • Generate appointments through outbound cold calling, LinkedIn and emailing campaigns
  • Generate appointments through local networking - service organizations, networking events, leads groups, centers of influence
  • Attend any appointments set for you by our inbound marketing and lead generation team
  • Qualify leads based on predetermined criteria and interest in our products/services
  • Develop target customer profiles, identifying target customer needs and develop ways to address those needs
  • Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs - # of appointments, pipeline add, closed/won MRR.
  • Continuously improve sales approach to account penetration, talk track, strategy
  • Consistently achieve new MRR quota each month of $5000 in closed won sales

  • 3+ years of experience in successfully selling Managed Services in the Chicago Metro Area
  • Tangible examples of MSP sales success history
  • Record of consistently achieving quota in prior appointment outside sales role
  • Strong executive presence and excellent communication skills
  • Existing network of centers of influence, referrals, and relationships to drive new business
  • Demonstrable cold calling techniques as well as face to face selling strategies
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Innate challenger personality, The Challenger Sale familiarity a plus
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Motivated to achieve maximum impact


What we require
  • Ability to travel daily throughout the Chicago metro area for meetings, networking and occasional evening and weekend work events (networking, community service, event sponsorships)
  • Consistent internet connection with a mobile backup/hotspot
  • Full time, hybrid


Benefits

Salary

The estimated-On Target Earnings range for this position is estimated to be $100,000 - $130,000/year. Compensation will include a salary and a variable, uncapped commission structure. Total compensation for this position may also include Employee Stock units, quarterly bonuses and other potential future incentives. Further note that total compensation for this position will be determined by each individual's relevant qualifications, work experience, skills, and other factors.
